Why take music lessons?
The arts are crucial to our children. It fosters academic achievement as well as social and emotional development. Involvement in music translates to gains in all areas such as, math, reading, cognitive ability and critical thinking. It is my goal to help my students develop and hone their ability to innovate, communicate and collaborate. All of this is achievable through music education.
About Me & My Studio
Charity Dolan was trained in Music Therapy at Montclair State University and has been teaching piano in Lincoln Park and the surrounding areas for the past 24 years. She offers both studio and in home piano lessons for beginners to advanced levels and voice lessons at the beginner level. Charity has experience with autism and special needs children and employs therapy strategies when needed in her lessons. She plays piano and organ for her church in Caldwell and regularly teaches the children's singing class. Charity is dedicated to helping her students reach their music potential while having fun. Her teaching style and passion makes learning music a satisfying and enjoyable experience for all ages!
